Upper Cervical Specific
An Adjustment without the “popping, twisting and cracking”!
We utilize precision analysis and correction of your spinal alignments especially when dealing with the upper cervical area. Dr. Tickel will apply great care in determining where a misalignment is in the spine and then corrects this misalignment with a precise non-force adjustment. This serves to restore proper brain to body communication by removing interference or distortions, allowing the body to once again generate health.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
“I have tried everything and nothing has worked!”
If you have had year and years of back pain, been recommended for spinal surgery, have gotten all the injections and been to countless chiropractor and therapist and nothing has worked, then you may be a candidate for Spinal Decompression Therapy.
Spinal Decompression can help with:
Sciatica / Numbness
Chronic Neck / Back Pain
Bulging Discs / Disc Herniation
Degenerative Disc Disease
Spinal Stenosis
Spinal Arthritis
Facet syndrome
How it works, the bones of the spine are slowly and methodically separated using the state of the art Spinal Decompression Unit. While the vertebrae are separated, pressure is slowly reduced within the disc (intradiscal pressure) until a vacuum is formed. This vacuum pulls the gelatin center of the disc back inside, reducing the bulging disc or herniated disc. Substantial disc bulge reduction takes pressure off the spinal nerves and drastically reduces disability and pain. The vacuum also pulls necessary oxygen, fluid and nutrients into injured and degenerated discs allowing the healing to begin.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health.
A CST session is similar to massage therapy, except you stay fully clothed. The therapist uses gentle pressure techniques to assess the existence of possible disruptions and/or restrictions in your fascial system. Light touch and fascial release may help your muscles and organs naturally relieve stress, which improves function. Other patients often report feeling a sense of deep relaxation.
What conditions may craniosacral therapy (CST) help?
Chronic pain.
Fibromyalgia.
Migraine headache.
Complex regional pain syndrome.
Fascial adhesions.
Multiple sclerosis.
Neuralgia.
Neurodegenerative diseases.
Temporo-mandibular joint syndrome.
Stroke.
Post-concussion syndrome.
Speech impairment.
Epilepsy.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy
These are 2 techniques focus on pain believed to arise from myofascial tissues — the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles.
Theoretically, myofascial pain differs from other types of pain because it originates in "trigger points," which are related to stiff, anchored areas within the myofascial tissue. The pain that a trigger point causes is often difficult to localize, though.
During myofascial release therapy, the therapist locates myofascial areas that feel stiff and fixed instead of elastic and movable under manual pressure. These areas, though not always near what feels like the source of pain, are thought to restrict muscle and joint movements, which contributes to widespread muscle pain.
The focused manual pressure and stretching used in myofascial release therapy loosen up restricted movement, leading indirectly to reduced pain.

Neuro Emotional Technique
Thoughts are things and can be painful.
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is based on the concept that unresolved emotional trauma is stored in the body. Emotions such as excessive, unresolved anger, grief and fear may long affect us even after we have forgotten the event that caused them. Since our emotional reality dramatically affects our health, using NET to identify these negatively charged emotions (Neuro-Emotional Complexes) and releasing them can normalize abnormal physical and behavioral patterns.
It is important to note, NET does not cure or heal the patient, but rather removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, allowing the body to heal and/or repair itself.
